Ameen Abdulqader Omar

Professor Dr. Ameen Abdulqader Omar is a scholar specializing in Kurdish literature and literary criticism. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Exeter (UK) in 2016, where his research focused on The Iraqi Kurdish Novel. He holds an M.A. in Kurdish literature from the University of Duhok (2008) and a B.A. from the same institution (2003). Dr. Omar has authored 16 books on Kurdish literature and research methodology and has published 12 scholarly articles in Kurdish and English. He has actively participated in numerous national and international academic conferences. His research interests include Kurdish literature, literary criticism, and the development of the Kurdish novel and short story. He is fluent in Kurdish (Sorani and Kurmanji), English, and Arabic.
